TEACHING EXPERIENCE
"Regina is supportive, encouraging, and nurturing. Her extensive knowledge of music and vocal technique helps to further my daughter’s ability to perform. Besides being a vocal coach, she is supportive and truly cares about each student and helping them reach their full potential,"
-Amy, mother of current voice student
My voice teaching career started in the voice studios of AMDA (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy) where I taught singing privately to Musical Theater majors and also taught the class, “Singing for Actors” for Acting majors. This amazing experience led me to create a private voice studio in my home for singers aged middle school to adult which I began in 2008.
In addition to my private voice studio:
-
I serve as the Musical Director for Briarcliff Manor High School and Middle School productions and have happily been in that role for 11 years.
-
I am the Lead Instructor for the Precollege course “Vocal Intensive” at SUNY Purchase which takes place each summer as part of their Summer Youth and Precollege Programs in the Arts. I have been in this role for 10 amazing years.
-
I am a Voice Adjudicator for NYSSMA (The New York State Music Association) and adjudicate all levels of singing performances.
-
I taught the workshop "Vocal Styling and Performance" at SUNY Purchase as part of their PAWS (Performing Arts Westchester Students) program.
-
I taught private voice lessons at Cortland School of Performing Arts from 2017-2019.
